In 2016 we worked with AusNet Services to develop the content strategy and information architecture that would underpin their new website.
The content strategy focussed on two key questions:
- Who are our customers and how do we want to relate to them?
- What are their content needs?
Once we worked out the answers to these questions, then we could set the content priorities for the website. These content priorities then framed the information architecture, the visual design and the content development process
The content strategy also described the principles that guide the content, revolving around these questions:
- What style of content do we want?
- How will we approach content development?
This process led to us clearly articulating the goals for the website, based on our detailed understanding of customers needs and tasks.
