FAQs

Here are a few questions that our clients and friends sometimes ask:

How can I make sure our website will work on a mobile phone?

We can make sure your website will work on large and small screens. The key is planning and new buzz word ‘responsive design‘. The first step is to work out what’s most important for your audiences and then make sure that it is easily accessible on small screens.

We are running an event. Can you help us with the social media campaign?

We’d love to. Our team members have experience in using Twitter, Facebook and other apps to get the word out and to start to engage your event participants before, during and after the event. For example, we’ve used the live blogging tools that allow to use your phone to easily take photos and add comments throughout the event.

Our website is old. Can you help us re-do it?

Old websites are great opportunities to start afresh. We can sit down and talk through your situation, then work out a plan that will deliver a website that works for your audience and your organisation. We can help you at each step along the way, and even help you find an appropriate web developer.

Do we need you or a web developer?

We provide structure and content for your website, then web developers code and test. So if you know exactly what you want to do and write it down in a clear plan, then you just need a web developer. If you’re uncertain or need help in developing and structuring your content, then give us a call first. (We can also let you know about some great options in terms of websites and applications that might save you substantial amount of dollars and reduce your need for web developers.)

How can you help keep our website up to date?

We can:

  • Regularly write and produce content for you e.g. we could write a new section for your website, or provide regular feature articles. We can ghost write your CEO’s blog or create engaging video interviews
  • Develop with you a publishing plan so that updates are managed and resourced
  • Train your staff in-house how to write effectively for the website
  • Assign one of our writer and editor teams to work in house once a week.

We need a web writer full time. Can you help?

Yes, we’ve got a team of experienced writers who can help. They can work from home or come onsite. It is usually better to get a small team of writers working on a project rather than one full timer – it helps keeps everyone fresh and focused. Contact us and we could suggest an approach that will work best.
